Hawks roll to 17-5 victory over UC-Colorado Springs

Box Score Nine different players scored goals to lead Rockhurst to a 17-5 victory over Colorado-Colorado Springs Thursday night at Bourke Field.
The Hawks jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the first 10 minutes. Colorado Springs scored four of the next five goals. Rockhurst ended the game on a pair of 6-0 runs.

Shayna Stevens led the Hawks with five goals. Maddi Scheipeter scored three goals. Lily Molina and Tierney Buschbacher each posted two goals. Madison Naes tallied one goal and three assists.

Rockhurst outshot Colorado Springs, 45-11. Stevens led the Hawks with eight shots. Molina and Scheipeter added seven shots apiece. Hannah Wiesbrod added five shots, five ground balls and seven caused turnovers. Tessa Boots and Scheipeter each had three draw controls and four caused turnovers. Leena Nabulsi posted four saves.

The Hawks (6-4, 3-1 RMAC) host Dubuque on Saturday (April 1).
