The Rockhurst women's tennis team suffered a 5-4 loss to Lewis in the GLVC-GLIAC Crossover Sunday in Plainfield, Ill. The loss drops the Hawks to 5-4 on the season.

Octavia Malin and Emma Persson won at No. 5 and 6 singles. The Hawks also captured victories in No. 2 and 3 doubles.

The Hawks fell to Northwood, 5-4, on Saturday and defeated Ferris State, 8-1, on Friday in the Crossover. Janine Koleta, Kim Vrugteveen and Emma Persson won in singles against Northwood. Rockhurst swept all six singles matches in the win over Ferris State.

Rockhurst will host Missouri Valley on Wednesday (March 22).
