Offensive attack leads Hawks to 11-4 victory

Henry Weiler posted two hits with an RBI double.

Box Score Rockhurst connected on seven extra-base hits in posting an 11-4 victory over Oakland City in the Clearwater Invitational Saturday in Clearwater, Fla.

Corbin Hare doubled home two runs in the third inning and Alex Van Pelt hit a two-run triple in the fourth. Brett Marr and Henry Weiler collected RBI doubles in the first.

Hare, Weiler and Nic Mertes each had two hits to lead the 15-hit attack. Michael Lydon-Lorson allowed four runs on eight hits with nine strikeouts over 8.0 innings.

The Hawks (10-4) play Minnesota-Crookston on Monday in Clearwater.
