The ninth-seeded Rockhurst Hawks (14-12, 8-10 GLVC) meet the eighth-seeded Drury Panthers (17-9, 10-8 GLVC) at 2 p.m. Sunday in Springfield, Mo., in the first round of the 2017 Great Lakes Valley Conference Men's Basketball Tournament.
This marks the sixth appearance in the GLVC Tournament for the Hawks, who are 1-5 all-time in the GLVC Tournament. The Panthers won their last meeting, 70-68, earlier this season in Springfield. Drury has won the last 11 meetings and leads the all-time series, 68-44.

Kaleb Warner with 45 seconds left. Whelan made a layup for Jewell to knot the score with 30 seconds left. Warner turned the ball over with 5.8 seconds left. Whelan then took the inbounds pass past midcourt and drove the floor for his game-winning shot. He added two free throws with 0.2 seconds left after Rockhurst turned the ball over.
Alex Hagan led the Hawks with 19 points. Warner scored 15 points.Â
Mason Loewen posted 14 points and six rebounds.Â
Malachi Nix collected 13 points and four assists.
