Box Score Rockhurst dropped it first game of the season, falling to No. 1-ranked Florida Southern 19-6 Friday night in Lebanon, Ill.

Florida Southern scored three unanswered goals to take an 11-3 halftime lead. A 7-0 run gave the Moccasins an 18-4 lead with 10 minutes left in the game.

Hannah Weisbrod led the Hawks (1-1) with three goals. Madeline Gilstrap posted five points on one goal and four assists. Maddi Scheipeter and Sam Roth also tallied goals.

Florida Southern outshot Rockhurst, 33-20. Weisbrod led the Hawks with eight shots. Roth added four shots. Scheipeter tallied four draw controls. Leena Nabulsi posted 11 saves.

The Hawks play McKendree on Sunday in Lebanon, Ill.
