The Rockhurst Hawks (11-7, 5-5 GLVC) host the Maryville Saints (7-15, 1-9 GLVC) in a Great Lakes Valley Conference West Division matchup at 3 p.m. today.

Rockhurst won their last meeting, 72-59, at Maryville on Jan. 28, 2016. The Hawks lead the all-time series, 8-3.

The Hawks have won eight of their last 11 games. Junior forward Alex Hagan leads the Hawks in scoring (16.0) and rebounding (7.6). Junior forward Kaleb Warner ranks 13th in scoring (15.6) and ninth in 3-point field goals made (2.8) in the GLVC.

Senior guard Malachi Nix is 29th in scoring (13.2), 11th in assists (3.9), 12th in free throw percentage (83.5), 11th in assist/turnover ratio (1.8) and 10th in minutes played (31.2) in the GLVC. Junior center Gabe Brown leads the GLVC in blocked shots (1.9). Junior guard Travis House is 11th in 3-point field goals made (2.7) in the GLVC. Sophomore forward Connor Evans ranks ninth in steals (1.5) in the GLVC. Rockhurst ranks third in 3-point field goals made (10.3) and sixth in blocked shots (3.6) in the GLVC.

Rockhurst connected on 12 three-pointers in posting a 77-68 victory over Missouri-St. Louis Thursday night at Mason-Halpin. Kaleb Warner led Rockhurst with 23 points behind seven-of-14 shooting. Alex Hagan posted 16 points and nine rebounds. Travis House scored 13 points behind four three-pointers. Connor Evans finished with 10 points, seven rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots. Malachi Nix added seven points, four rebounds and nine assists.

The Saints are coming off a 66-63 loss at William Jewell Thursday night. Junior guard Grant Sims led Maryville with 13 points. Sims ranks 26th in scoring (13.6) in the GLVC. Sims also leads the Saints in assists (70) and steals (23). Senior guard Anthony Johnson is the team leader in rebounds (113). Kevin Carroll is in his seventh season as Maryville's head coach and has an 85-106 record.
