The Rockhurst women suffered their first conference loss at Drury, falling 7-2 to the 40th-ranked Lady Panthers Friday in Springfield, Missouri.

The Hawks' Octavia Malin won her No. 6 singles match in two sets. RU's Kim Vrugteveen and Justine Berezintsev teamed up to capture the No. 3 doubles by an 8-6 score.

Rockhurst (7-5, 1-1 GLVC) will play at Washburn on Tuesday, April 12.
