Box Score Rockhurst concluded its 2016 home schedule with a 29-6 victory over Benedictine Thursday night at Bourke Field.
The Hawks jumped out to a 9-1 lead in the first seven minutes and took a 17-6 into halftime. Rockhurst outscored the Ravens 12-0 in the second half.
Madeline Gilstrap led the Hawks with 11 points on two goals and nine assists.
Maddi Scheipeter collected a team-high seven goals.
Tierney Buschbacher,
Hannah Weisbrod and
Shayna Stevens each scored five goals. Weisbrod also won five draw controls.
Lily Molina and
Madison Naes combined for five goals.
Rockhurst outshot the Ravens 41-12. Scheipeter paced the Hawks with nine shots and 10 draw controls. Stevens added five shots.
Tessa Boots,
Zoe Otteman and Weisbrod led the Hawks with two ground balls each.
Natalie Washington posted three saves.
The Hawks (6-6) return to conference action at Colorado State-Pueblo on on Tuesday, April 12.
