Box Score Rockhurst closed out the 2016 season with a 22-1 loss at fourth-ranked Lindenwood in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game Saturday in St. Charles, Missouri.

The Hawks wrapped up the season with a 7-9 overall record and 1-6 conference record.

Lindenwood jumped out to a 13-0 halftime lead. The Hawks scored early in the second half on a goal by Maddi Scheipeter, assisted by Madeline Gilstrap.

The Lions outshot Rockhurst, 34-12. Hannah Weisbrod paced the Hawks with four shots, two ground balls and two caused turnovers. Hanna Meek also had two ground balls and two caused turnovers. Leena Nabulsi collected five saves.
