Box Score 2 Rockhurst posted a 3-1 victory over Missouri-St. Louis in extra innings to gain a split of a conference doubleheader Saturday in St. Louis. The Tritons won the first game, 6-2.
Henry Weiler (6-2) allowed one run on four hits in 8.0 innings while striking out six and walking three. Weiler shut out the Tritons over the first seven innings.The Hawks scored three runs on three hits in the top of the eighth inning in the second game.
Seth Soto singled home the first run.
Mitch Stickney followed with a two-run single.
Joey Mancuso opened the inning with a double. Stickney, Soto and Mancuso led the Hawks with two hits apiece.
The Tritons won the opener while collecting 11 hits. Soto led the Hawks with two hits.
Wylson Lamb and Stickney each drove in a run.
Michael Lydon-Lorson (4-4) allowed six runs on nine hits in 5.1 innings.
