Box Score Hannah Weisbrod scored seven goals to lead Rockhurst to an 18-9 victory over Adams State in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game Thursday in Alamosa, Colo.
The Hawks jumped out to an 11-0 lead in the first 19 minutes and led 13-4 at halftime. Rockhurst took a 16-5 lead early in the second half. Weisbrod scored her final goal with an assist from
Madeline Gilstrap with 13:17 remaining to give the Hawks an 18-7 lead.
Maddi Scheipeter,
Tessa Boots,
Lily Molina and
Tierney Buschbacher each scored two goals. Gilstrap finished with four points on one goal and three assists.
Rockhurst outshot Adams State, 27-20. Weisbrod paced the Hawks with nine shots. Molina added four shots. Scheipeter collected four draw controls.
Kathy Perkins posted six saves.
The Hawks (7-7, 1-4 RMAC) play at Regis on Friday, April 15.
