Box Score Colorado State-Pueblo scored eight unanswered goals in posting a 20-16 victory over Rockhurst in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game Tuesday night in Pueblo, Colo.

The Hawks jumped out to a 7-5 lead with 7:17 left in the first half. The ThunderWolves scored the last five goals of the first half and the first three goals of the second half to take a 13-7 lead. Rockhurst went on a 7-2 run to pull within four, 18-15, with 4:45 left to play.

Hannah Weisbrod led the Hawks with seven points on five goals and two assists. Maddi Scheipeter collected four goals and a team-high seven draw controls. Madeline Gilstrap posted two goals and two assists. Tierney Buschbacher and Shayna Stevens each added two goals.

Pueblo outshot Rockhurst 40-32. Scheipeter and Stevens paced the Hawks with eight shots apiece. Weisbrod added seven shots. Tessa Boots chipped in five draw controls. Kathy Perkins posted 13 saves and four ground balls.

The Hawks (6-7, 0-4 RMAC) play at Adams State on Thursday, April 14.
