The Rockhurst men suffered a 5-4 loss at 25th-ranked Washburn Tuesday in Topeka, Kansas.

Daniel Chmielewski, Joe Ibarra and Nicolas Riveros won their singles matches for the Hawks. Decho Valev and Chmielewski combined to win in No. 3 doubles.

Rockhurst (6-6) will host Emporia State on Wednesday, April 13.
