Hawks claim 5-0 victory over McKendree

Tamara Santos won her No. 1 doubles match with teammate Emma Schelble.

Emma Schelble and Janine Koleta won in both singles and doubles to lead Rockhurst to a 5-0 victory over McKendree Sunday at Milburn Country Club in Overland Park, Kansas.

Schelble won her No. 1 singles match without dropping. Koleta did likewise in No. 2 singles. Schelble teamed up with Tamara Santos to win in No. 1 doubles by an 8-2 score. Koleta and Octavia Malin won in No. 2 doubles by an 8-0 score. Kim Vrugteveen and Justine Berezintsev captured No. 3 doubles, 8-2.

The Hawks (3-3) host McPherson on Monday, March 2.
