Rockhurst posts 6-3 win over Nebraska-Kearney

Emma Persson won in No. 3 singles in a third set tie-breaker.

The Rockhurst women won two doubles matches and four singles matches to post a 6-3 victory over Nebraska-Kearney Friday at the Loyola Park Tennis Courts.

Emma Schelble won in straight sets in No. 1 singles. Schelble teamed up with Tamara Santos to win in No. 1 doubles by an 8-6 score. Janine Koleta and Octavia Malin won in No. 2 doubles by an 8-2 score. Octavia Malin also won in straight sets in No. 2 and 6 singles. Emma Persson captured No. 4 singles in a third set tie-breaker (16-14).

The Hawks (2-3) host McKendree on Sunday, March 13.
