Box Score Rockhurst suffered an 8-1 loss to Alabama Huntsville in its final game in the NCAA Division II Gulf Coast Invitational Sunday in Gulf Shores, Alabama.

Huntsville scored two unearned runs in the first inning and tallied two more runs in the third. The Chargers scored a run in the fifth and added three runs in the sixth.

Lauren Cairo hit a solo home run in the fifth for the Hawks, who were held to three hits. Shannon Greene (0-3) allowed four runs on four hits in 2.1 innings.

The Hawks (2-3) will play in the Arkansas Monticello 8-State Classic on Friday in Bentonville, Arkansas.
