Box Score Rockhurst's final road trip of the season ended on a down note Saturday at Wisconsin-Parkside. The 23rd-ranked Rangers shot 53.2 percent from the field in rolling to a 93-57 win over the Hawks in Somers, Wisconsin.
Parkside jumped out to a 44-26 halftime lead and took a 30-point lead less than six minutes into the second half.
"That was our low point as far as energy and execution," said Rockhurst coach Drew Diener. "Parkside shot great and outplayed us every way measurable. It was very disappointing to see us compete at such a low level."
Dominique Washington led the Hawks with 16 points on six-of-14 shooting. Josh Roberts scored nine points.
Rockhurst shot 31.1 percent from the field (19 of 61) and 10.5 percent from behind the 3-point line (two of 19).
Parkside shot 56.0 percent on 3-pointers (14 of 25) and outrebounded Rockhurst 50-31. Andy Mazurczak paced the Rangers with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
The Hawks, 10-11 and 5-8 in the GLVC, return home to host Indianapolis on Thursday (February 11).
