Box Score Second-ranked Le Moyne College scored the first 12 goals in cruising to a 24-8 victory over Rockhurst Saturday in Syracuse, New York.

Michael Beckham scored Rockhurst's first two goals late in the second period. He added his third goal in the third period to cut Le Moyne's lead to 14-5.

Jake Martin scored back-to-back goals in the third period. Shea Radel, Collin Fischer and Christian Schveninger added goals for the Hawks in the second half.

Beckham paced Rockhurst (1-1) with three goals and seven shots. Christian Schveninger posted four shots. Ian Meister won 16-of-33 faceoffs and had a team-high seven ground balls. Alex Pfeil and Jamison Boggio combined for 11 saves.

Le Moyne outshot Rockhurst 51-27. The Dolphins edged the Hawks in ground balls, 35-26.
