The Rockhurst Hawks (10-11, 5-8 GLVC) host the Indianapolis Greyhounds (17-4, 11-2 GLVC) in a Great Lakes Valley Conference cross divisional matchup at 7:30 p.m. Thursday (February 11) at Mason-Halpin Field House.

Indianapolis defeated the Hawks, 88-49, at Rockhurst last year. The Greyhounds lead the all-time series, 6-4.

"We have five home games left," said Rockhurst coach Drew Diener. "We have to out compete every opponent on our schedule and in doing so, we will put ourselves in position to make the conference tournament. For teams with the right mindset, this is the best time of year. We have a great opportunity in front of us in the next three weeks."

Senior forward Dominique Washington ranks sixth in scoring (18.1), 16th in rebounding (6.1) and 14th in field goal percentage (54.7) in the GLVC. Junior guard Malachi Nix stands first in assists (5.7), 10th in steals (1.5), seventh in assist/turnover ratio and seventh in minutes played (32.2) in the GLVC. Freshman guard Austin LeVan ranks ninth in 3-point field goals made (2.2) in the GLVC. Sophomore forward Alex Hagan ranks 11th in rebounding (6.6) and fifth in offensive rebounds (2.4) in the GLVC. Junior forward Adam Fatkin stands third in field goal percentage (58.6) in the GLVC.

The Hawks rank fourth in scoring defense (71.6), fifth in 3-point field goal percentage defense (32.8), fifth in turnover margin and sixth in field goal percentage defense (44.6) in the GLVC.

Rockhurst's suffered its third consecutive loss, falling at 23rd-ranked Wisconsin-Parkside, 93-57, last Saturday. Dominique Washington led the Hawks with 16 points on six-of-14 shooting. Rockhurst shot 31.1 percent from the field (19 of 61) and 10.5 percent from behind the 3-point line (two of 19).

The Greyhounds are coming off an 87-86 victory at home over Truman State last Saturday. Senior guard Jordan Loyd led UIndy with 26 points and 11 rebounds. Loyd leads the Greyhounds in scoring (20.1, second in GLVC), rebounding (6.8, eighth in GLVC) and steals (1.9, third in GLVC). Senior guard Lucas Barker ranks fifth in the GLVC in assists (4.3). Senior forward Ernest Maize ranks fourth in blocks (1.4) and 15th in rebounding (6.2) in the GLVC. Stan Gouard is in his eighth season as UIndy's head coach.
