Rockhurst opened conference play at home Thursday with a 72-58 loss to Truman State. Truman State opened the second half on a 16-0 run to take a 51-30 lead.

Quincy is coming off an 85-60 victory at William Jewell Thursday night in their conference opener. Senior guard Von Washington III led Quincy with 24 points. Senior forward Evan McGaughey tallied 15 points and eight rebounds. Senior forward Joseph Tagarelli added 15 points, five rebounds and five assists. Tagarelli ranks eighth in scoring (17.4) and third in rebounding (10.1) in the GLVC. McGaughey is tied for sixth in rebounding (7.5) in the GLVC. Senior guard Herm Senor II leads the GLVC in assists (6.75) in the GLVC.
