The Rockhurst men's golf team finished in fifth place at the Arch Cup Tuesday at the Legends Golf Club in Eureka, Mo. The Hawks shot a team score of 626 over 36 holes. Missouri-St. Louis won the team title with an 591 team score.
Scott Schaeffer and
David Baldwin both tied for 16th place to lead the Hawks. Schaeller shot a 74 and 81 for a 155 score. Baldwin fired an 80 and 76 over his two rounds. Freshmen Mike Silberberg and Alex Graf tied for 35th with a 162 total (78-84).
Nick Arman (89-76) and
Drew Hill (82-83) both tied for 40th with a 165 score. Darren Wijava tied for 58th at 175 (86-89). R.J. Bondon finished in 66th at 185 (95-90).
The Hawks will next play in the Midwest Regional #1 at the Harborside Country Club in Chicago on Sept. 28-29.
