The Maryville women won the last singles match of the night to edge Rockhurst 5-4 Friday at the Creve Coeur Tennis Courts in St. Louis. MU's Manon Halna Du Fretay defeated RU's Maddy Kayser in three sets in the No. 6 singles match to give the Saints the team victory.
 
The Saints jumped out to an early lead by taking two of the three doubles matches. The Hawks won No. 2 doubles with Ana Tamara Santos and Fabi Juarez by an 8-2 score.
 
Emma Schelble captured No. 1 singles in three sets, Kim Vrugteveen won in No. 4 singles in three sets and Alex Schelble grabbed No. 5 singles in straight sets. 

The Hawks (6-9, 1-2 GLVC) play at Truman State on Saturday, April 4.
