Box Score 2 Quincy completed a weekend series sweep over Rockhurst by posting 9-2 and 6-4 victories Sunday at Loyola Park.
Rockhurst outhit Quincy 11-9 in the second game, but could not overcome a pair of unearned runs in the last two innings.
Matt Stacks led the Hawks with three hits and two RBI.
Caleb Baker and
Patrick Burns added two hits apiece.
Trenton Perry (0-1) took the loss while giving up two unearned runs over 2.1 innings.
Grant Otte pitched the first 6.1 innings, allowing four runs on seven hits.
In the first game, Quincy jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the third inning. Stacks singled home a run in the third and
Calin McCourt added an RBI single in the fourth.
Burns paced the Hawks with three hits.
Joe Huber (4-2) allowed nine runs on seven hits with five strikeouts in five innings.
Rockhurst, 11-13 and 4-8 in the GLVC, will host William Jewell on Wednesday.
