Box Score The Rockhurst women ended their spring break road trip in Colorado with an 18-4 loss to Colorado Mesa Friday night in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference game in Grand Junction, Colo.
Mesa scored the first four goals of the game and took a 13-4 lead into halftime. The Mavericks added five goals in the second half.
Madeline Gilstrap led the Hawks with two points on one goal and one assist.
Kristen Wade,
Tessa Boots and
Hannah Weisbrod also scored goals.
Ashley Wooldridge posted a team-high three ground balls, while
Madison Naes collected two caused turnovers.
Sophomore goalie
Natalie Washington finished with eight saves. Mesa outshot the Hawks, 30-7.
Rockhurst, 1-6 and 0-4 in the RMAC, returns home to host plays Adams State on Wednesday, March 25.
