The Hawks will travel to Westfield, Ind., where they will take on the Greyhounds in their first action of the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC) in 2015. Rockhurst will play doubleheaders on Saturday and Sunday. Saturday's games will begin at 3:30 pm and 6:30 pm (central time) while Sunday's games will be at 10:30 am and 1:30 pm (central time).
Rockhurst (7-4) is coming off a strong 12-5 win over MIAA opponent Pitt State where the Hawks were able to collect 13 hits on the day. Sophomore shortstop

Caleb Baker each paced the Rockhurst with three hits. Marr comes into this weekend with a .511 batting average while Baker is hitting .424.
The pitching staff for the Hawks has been exceptional throughout the 2015 season, as they have combined for five complete games so far. The probable starters for Rockhurst have combined for a record of 6-2. The entire staff as a whole has been able to hold opposing batters to a .261 batting average.
Indy (2-5) is coming off a 7-6 win over non-conference opponent Lee University where the Greyhounds were able to score six runs in the seventh inning. Indy was out-hit in the ball game 12-8, but thanks to clutch hitting, was able to get the victory.
Leading the hitting attack for the Greyhounds are designated hitter Trevor Forde and shortstop Colin Hawk. They are hitting .429 and .391 respectively on the season. The pitching staff as a whole has a combined ERA of 5.24 while holding opposing batters to a .289 batting average.
