Box Score Wisconsin-Parkside opened the second half on a 10-0 run on the way to a 74-44 victory over Rockhurst Thursday night at Mason-Halpin Field House.
The 14th-ranked Rangers outscored the Hawks 46-22 in the second half after taking a narrow 28-22 lead into halftime. Parkside shot 53.1 percent in the second half. The Rangers scored 40 points in the paint and tallied 19 points off turnovers for the game.
Liam Duffy led the Hawks with nine points on three 3-point field goals. Dominic Washington posted a team-high eight rebounds.
Russell Burns added six points, six rebounds and three assists.
Rockhurst shot 32.1 percent from the field (18 of 56) and 62.5 percent from the free-throw line (5 of 8). Parkside connected on 29-of-63 field goals (46.0 percent) and 8-of-10 free throws (80.0 percent). Jordan Mach led the Rangers with 14 points.
The Hawks, 6-14 and 2-10 in the GLVC, host Lewis on Saturday, Feb. 7.
