The Rockhurst baseball team (0-1) will travel to Nashville, Tenn., toplay regional games againstIllinois Springfield and Tiffin (Ohio) at E.S. Rose Park.Both teams have yet to play a game in the 2015 season.

Illinois Springfield is coming off a successful 2014 season, winning 28 games and earning a GLVC tournament bid.The Prairie Stars finished 18-18 in the GLVC, splittinga four-game series against the Hawks.In the 2015 GLVC West Preseason Poll, Springfield was voted to finish fifth in the East Division. They are led by second-year head coach Chris Ramirez.In his first season for the Prairie Stars, he led the team totheir first-ever 20-win season.
dTiffin is coming off a 2014 season whereit finished with an overall record of 17-33.The Dragonscompete in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) and finished 16-15 in conference play.In the 2015 GLIAC South Preseason Poll, Tiffin was voted to finish fourth in the six-team division. They are led by third-year head coach Joe Wilkins.As the skipper for the Dragons, he has led them to a 37-62 overall record over the past three years.
