Box Score Freshman Michael Beckham paced Rockhurst with four goals and seven ground balls to lead the Hawks to a 17-4 victory over the University of Dubuque Saturday at Bourke Field.

Beckham tallied two goals in the first period to give the Hawks a 3-1 lead. He also scored goals in the third and fourth periods.

Jake Martin posted three goals and one assist. Peter Hummel, Elijah Gaea and Blake Foerster each finished with two goals. Ian Miester added six ground balls while winning 12 of 17 faceoffs. Zach McGuff and Alex Pfeil combined for five saves.

Rockhurst, 2-0, hosts Colorado State-Pueblo in its conference opener on Saturday, Feb. 28.
