Newman rallied from a 3-0 deficit to edge Rockhurst 5-4 in a women's dual match Friday in Wichita, Kan.

The Hawks swept all three doubles matches to take a 3-0 lead going into singles competition. Alex Schleble captured her No. 4 singles match for Rockhurst's lone win in singles.

The Hawks (1-2) play East Central (Okla.) in Wichita on Saturday, Feb. 14.
