The Rockhurst Hawks meet Central Missouri for the first time in four years tonight at 7:30 at the UCM Multipurpose Building in Warrensburg, Mo.
 
The Mules won their last meeting, 86-72, on Nov. 22, 2011 in Warrensburg. Central Missouri has won the last four meetings and leads the all-time series, 31-16.

Central Missouri (2-0) opened the season with wins at home over Minnesota-Duluth (78-60) and Concordia-St. Paul (77-52). Senior guard Roosevelt Scott leads the Mules with a 13.5 scoring average.
 
"Central has a lot of talent," said Rockhurst head coach Drew Diener. "They have been good at home. This will be a very good test for our team. We will have to stay poised and tough for 40 minutes. Our prep this week has gone well. I thought we played within ourselves in our last game and built on our good habits. That is our goal tonight."
 
The Hawks opened the season with a 101-38 victory at home over Calvary Bible last Saturday. Freshman guard Austin LeVan led the Hawks with 20 points on seven-of-11 field goal shooting. Senior center Dominique Washington posted 12 points and four rebounds. Alex Hagan, Will Kathrein and Joshua Brannon also scored in double figures. Malachi Nix led the team with seven assists.
