Box Score Rockhurst was held to 34.5 percent shooting in falling to Saint Joseph's 73-63 Thursday night at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House. The Hawks could not overcome a 38-29 halftime deficit in suffering their four consecutive loss.

Saint Joseph's went on an 18-1 run to grab a 27-14 lead with 7:21 left in the first half. The Hawks closed to within five points, 59-54, with 4:52 left in the game before the Pumas added a 13-2 run to take a 72-56 lead.

Josh Roberts led the Hawks with 13 points and two steals. John Burke scored 10 points and posted a team-high three assists. Dominique Washington posted nine points, six rebounds and two steals. Andrew Ellwanger added six rebounds.

Rockhurst shot 70.8 percent from the free-throw line (17 of 24). Saint Joseph's made 24-of-58 field goals (42.9 percent) and 17-of-21 free throws (81.0 percent).

The Hawks, 4-8 and 0-4 in the GLVC, host Indianapolia on Saturday, Jan. 10.
