Dominique Washington's 17 points, to lead Rockhurst to an 86-75 victory over Maryville Saturday at Mason-Halpin Field House.
Washington connected on six-12 field goals, including three-of-five from behind the 3-point line. He scored the Hawks' first seven points of the second half to give Rockhurst a 55-46 lead with 16:17 left to play.
Adam Fatkin posted 11 points, six rebounds and three assists.
Josh Roberts scored 11 points behind three 3-point field goals.
Andrew Ellwanger collected 10 points and eight rebounds.
Liam Duffy added 10 points, five rebounds and three assists.
Russell Burns added eight points, eight rebounds and five assists.
Roberts and Duffy each drained a pair of 3-pointers to key a 14-2 run to give Rockhurst a 72-58 lead with 7:53 remaining. The Hawks iced the win by hitting four free throws in the final 48 seconds.
Rockhurst shot 47.5 percent from the field (28 of 59) and 90.5 percent from the free-throw line (19 of 21). Maryville connected on 22-of-57 field goals (38.6 percent) and 24-of-33 free throws (72.7 percent). Armon Provo led the Saints with 23 points.
The Hawks, 6-13 and 2-9 in the GLVC, host Wisconsin-Parkside on Thursday, Feb. 5.
