Box Score Rockhurst could not overcome a 17-point halftime deficit in falling to Quincy 91-76 Thursday night at the Pepsi Arena in Quincy, Ill.

Quincy shot 60 percent from the field in the first half to take a 50-33 lead. Rockhurst fell behind by 26 points in the second half before closing the game on a 23-12 run.

Dominique Washington led the Hawks with 19 points and eight rebounds. Russell Burns posted 18 points on 7-of-14 shooting and eight rebounds. Adam Fatkin scored 12 points on 6-for-6 shooting.

Rockhurst shot 40.8 percent from the field (31 of 76) and 76.9 percent from the free-throw line (10 of 13). Quincy connected on 33-of-64 field goals (40.3 percent) and 18-of-23 free throws (82.6 percent).

The Hawks, 5-11 and 1-7 in the GLVC, play at Truman State on Saturday, Jan. 24.
