Box Score Rockhurst fell behind early on the way to a 74-50 loss to Drury Thursday night at Mason-Halpin Field House. The Panthers have now won eight straight over the Hawks since 2011.

The Panthers jumped out to an 18-3 lead and led 33-21 at halftime. Drury went on a 10-2 run in the second half to take a 51-29 lead with 13:11 left in the game.

Russell Burns paced the Hawks with 12 points and four rebounds. John Burke posted seven points on 7-for-7 foul shooting. Dominque Washington came off the bench to score seven points. Josh Roberts added a team-high six rebounds and three steals.

Rockhurst shot 32.7 percent from the field (16 of 49) and 73.3 percent from the free-throw line (11 of 15). Drury made 28-of-51 field goals (54.9 percent) and 8-of-19 free throws (42.1 percent).

The Hawks, 4-10 and 0-6 in the GLVC, host Missouri S&T on Saturday, Jan. 17.
