Box Score Five players scored in double figures to power fifth-ranked Indianapolis to an 88-49 victory over Rockhurst Saturday at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House.
The Greyhounds jumped out to a 20-6 lead and led 36-21 at halftime. Indianapolis went on a 32-10 run in the second half to take a 74-38 lead with 6:16 left in the game.
Russell Burns paced the Hawks with 15 points and four rebounds.
Liam Duffy posted six points (on a pair of 3-pointers) and a team-high five rebounds.
Sam Briscoe finished with a team-high three assists in his first career start.
Rockhurst shot 36.7 percent from the field (18 of 49) and 72.7 percent from the free-throw line (8 of 11). Indianapolis made 30-of-55 field goals (54.5 percent) and 17-of-20 free throws (85.0 percent).
The Hawks, 4-9 and 0-5 in the GLVC, host Drury on Thursday, Jan. 15.
