Box Score 2 Rockhurst scored 10 runs in the first three innings to carry the Hawks to an 11-7 victory over Washburn in the second game of a doubleheader Tuesday in Topeka, Kan.
The Hawks crossed the plate six times in the second inning while collecting six singles. Rockhurst came back to score four runs on three hits in the third. Washburn scored five runs in its final two at-bats.
Calin McCourt led the 15-hit attack with three hits.

Caleb Baker each posted two hits.

Josh Dennett and Baker each drove in two runs.
Zach Loeffelholz pitched the first three innings to collect his third win in the last four days.
Washburn won the first game 10-5 as the Ichabods scored seven runs in the first inning.
Tim Mahoney led the Hawks with two doubles.
Brandon Weber and Marr also finished with two hits.
Rockhurst, 12-18, returns to conference play with a four-game series at Missouri S&T this weekend.
