Box Score Fifth-ranked Lindenwood jumped out to an early lead in breezing to an 18-1 victory over Rockhurst on Saturday in St. Charles, Mo.

Lindenwood led 8-0 less than 10 minutes into the game and took a 12-0 lead into halftime. The Hawks held the Lions to six goals in the second half.
Rockhurst's Madison Naes scored her eighth goal of the season, with an assist from Molly Meagher, with 8:53 left in the game.

Lindenwood outshot Rockhurst 28-5. Naes and Meagher led the Hawks with two shots apiece. Freshman goalie Natalie Washington made seven saves.

Rockhurst (0-9) closes out its inaugural season on Sunday at McKendree.
