Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Drury scored eight runs in the seventh inning to rally for a 13-3 victory over Rockhurst in the second game of a conference doubleheader Saturday at RU's Loyola Park.

Trailing 3-0 with two outs in the seventh, eight consecutive Panthers reached base on four hits, three walks and one hit batsman. Drury added five runs in the eighth on three hits in a game called after eight innings.

Jake Jones and Brett Marr led the Hawks with two hits apiece. Jones and Calin McCourt collected RBI singles. Seth Soto hit a solo home run in the fourth. Freshman Joe Huber (3-2) allowed eight hits over six and two-third innings.

Kevin Sweeney threw a four-hit shutout to lead Drury to a 4-0 victory in the first game. Josh Tols (3-6) allowed nine hits over seven innings while striking out eight hitters.

Rockhurst, 14-25 and 12-15 in the GLVC, host Washburn in a 3 p.m. doubleheader on Tuesday.
