Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Calin McCourt posted four of Rockhurst's 15 hits to lead the Hawks to a 7-3 victory over Missouri S&T in the first game of a conference doubleheader Saturday in Rolla, Mo.

The Hawks jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the third inning. Rockhurst added two insurance runs in the ninth inning with the aid of a Miner error.

Dalton Thompson collected two hits, highlighted by a two-run double. Seth Soto added a pair of RBI singles. Corbin Hare and Caleb Baker also had two hits. Freshman Joe Huber went the distance to earn his third win of the season.

The Miners came back to win the second game 3-1. McCourt led the Hawks with two hits. Josh Tols (3-4) held S&T to seven hits over six innings.

Rockhurst, 13-19 and 11-9 in the GLVC, play a doubleheader at 10 a.m. Sunday at Missouri S&T.
