Box Score 2 Missouri-St. Louis scored three runs in the seventh inning to rally for a 5-3 victory over Rockhurst in the second game of a conference doubleheader Sunday in St. Louis, Mo.
The Hawks scored two runs in the top of the seventh on run-scoring triples by
Brett Marr and
David Stober to grab a 3-2 lead. The Hawks scored in the second with the help of an infield error after singles by
Corbin Hare and
Seth Soto.
Thomas Woodard (1-2) allowed four runs on seven hits while walking six and striking out five in six and two-thirds innings.
The Tritons collected 12 hits to win the first game, 10-2.
Josh Dennett and Marr both singled home runs in the first. Freshman
Grant Otte (0-3) took the loss.
Rockhurst, 7-15 and 6-6 in the GLVC, returns to conference play with a noon doubleheader at William Jewell.
