Box Score Butler rallied to post an 8-3 win over Rockhurst Tuesday in Indianapolis, Ind. The Bulldogs scored twice in the seventh inning to tie the score at 3-all and tallied five runs in the eighth.

The Hawks took a 3-1 lead in the sixth behind run-scoring singles from Josh Dennett and Brett Marr. Patrick Burns gave Rockhurst a 1-0 lead in the third with an RBI single. Calin McCourt and Marr led the Hawks with two hits apiece as the Hawks finished with eight hits.

Michael Lydon-Lorson held Butler to three runs on six hits over six and a third innings. The Bulldogs scored four unearned runs off two Rockhurst relievers.

Rockhurst (3-8)  will play a doubleheader at Bellarmine on Wednesday.
