Josh Tols threw a one-hit shutout over seven innings to lead Rockhurst to an 11-0 victory over McKendree in the second game of a conference-opening doubleheader Saturday in Lebanon, Ill. The Hawks also won the first game, 14-2.
Tols won his first game of the season while walking six and striking out five.

Blake Petersen combined for six hits and four RBIs to lead the 10-hit attack.
Josh Dennett and
Dalton Thompson both drove in a pair of runs in a seven-run first inning.
In the first game, the Hawks jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the fourth inning.
Corbin Hare drove in five runs on four hits as the Hawks posted 15 hits. Thompson added four RBIs and Stober went 3-for-5. Petersen had two hits and two RBIs,
Brett Marr collected two hits and Dennett added two RBIs. Freshman
Joe Huber (1-1) allowed five hits in a game that was called after seven innings.
Rockhurst, 2-6 and 2-0 in the GLVC, play another doubleheader at McKendree on Sunday. The Hawks will then play a single game at Butler University Tuesday afternoon.
