Box Score Wisconsin-Parkside rallied from a six-point deficit in the second half to post a 76-63 victory over the Rockhurst Hawks Saturday in Somers, Wis.
Rockhurst, which led 35-33 at halftime, outscored the 20th-ranked Rangers 13-9 to open the second half to take a 48-42 lead with 14:55 left to play. Parkside went on an 11-0 run over the next four-plus minutes to take a 53-48 lead.
The Rangers widened their lead to 16 points, 72-56, after going on a 17-4 run. Parkside shot 60 percent from the field while outscoring Rockhurst 43-28 in the second half.
Nardie Bogues led the Hawks with a career-high 19 points. Bogues hit seven-of-12 field goal and three-of-four three-pointers.
Cooper Beckett posted 14 points and eight rebounds.
David Wingerson collected eight points and four rebounds.
Russell Burns added seven points and four rebounds.
The Hawks shot 39.3 percent (24 of 61) from the field, while hitting six-of-18 three-pointers. Parkside (19-3, 12-1 GLVC) shot 50 percent from the field (29 of 58) and 77.8 at the foul line (14 of 18). The Rangers outrebounded the Hawks, 39-32.
Rockhurst, 5-15 and 1-12 in the GLVC, returns home to host Illinois Springfield on Thursday night.
