Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Patrick Chandler combined for five hits and six RBIs to power Rockhurst to 8-5 and 16-4 wins over Illinois Springfield on Saturday in Chatham, Ill.

Chandler went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in the first game. He came back in the second game to go 3-for-3 with an RBI double in the first, an RBI single in the third and a three-run double in the fourth.

Josh Dennett paced the Hawks with three hits in the first game. Jordan Eckley added two hits. Anthony Davis drove in three runs. Matthew Stacks posted two RBIs. Thomas Woodard (4-1) allowed four hits and three runs over seven innings.

In the second game, Rockhurst scored six runs in the first inning. Brandon Tangney led off the game with a home run. Tangney, Stacks and Josh Baker each collected two hits and two RBIs. Trenton Perry (2-2) allowed five hits and one run over five innings.

The Hawks (13-11, 8-8 GLVC) closes out their four-game series at Illinois Springfield on Sunday.
