Box Score Rockhurst and Washburn combined for 25 runs, 37 hits, six errors and 57 baserunners Tuesday night at RU's Loyola Park. The Ichabods took advantage of their 32 baserunners in posting a 17-8 win over the Hawks. Rockhurst won by the same score earlier this season at Washburn.

Most of the scoring occurred after the fifth inning. Washburn scored five runs in the top of the sixth to take an 8-1 lead. The Ichabods added four runs in the eighth and five runs in the ninth. The Hawks scored two runs in the sixth and four runs in the ninth.

Six players posted multi-hit games for Rockhurst. Patrick Burns led the 18-hit attack with three hits and two RBIs. Tim Mahoney, Jordan Stull, Josh Dennett, Jordan Eckley, and Blake Petersen each collected two two hits. Zach Loeffelholz, 0-6, allowed four hits and three runs over the first five innings.

The Hawks (17-24, 12-20 GLVC) close out the regular season at home against Missouri S&T on Saturday and Sunday.
