Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 Rockhurst ran into one of the hottest teams in the GLVC on Sunday in Springfield, Mo. The Hawks suffered 15-5 and 8-4 losses to Drury, increasing Rockhurst's losing streak to seven.

Six players posted multi-hit games for Drury in the first game. The Panthers broke open the game with three runs in the fifth and five runs in the sixth. Patrick Chandler led the Hawks with three hits. Jordan Eckley singled home two runs in the eighth, followed by an RBI double from Matthew Stacks. Thomas Woodard, 5-4, allowed 11 hits and seven runs over four-plus innings.

In the second game, Drury jumped out to a 5-0 lead in the second inning. Anthony Davis collected two of RU's nine hits. Eckley, Josh Dennett and Kyle Hartman drove in runs with singles in the seventh. Trenton Perry suffered his fourth loss of the season.

The Hawks (16-22, 11-19 GLVC) close out the four-game series at Drury (29-12, 20-7) with a noon doubleheader on Monday.
