Drury maintained its sizable lead in the Great Lakes Valley Conference West Division by posting a 91-60 victory over Rockhurst Saturday at RU's Mason-Halpin Field House. The loss drops the Hawks to 3-13 in the conference standings and are now two games behind Illinois Springfield for the final spot in the upcoming GLVC Tournament.

Rockhurst fell behind 20-4 in the opening eight-plus minutes. Drury hit 18-of-29 field goals in the first half to take a 46-22 halftime lead. The Panthers sank 17-of-29 field goals in the second half.

Brandon McCann led the Hawks with 12 points and four assists. Cooper Beckett collected 11 points and four rebounds. Michael Osepa came off the bench to score 10 points on four-of-seven shooting. James Robinson and David Wingerson added eight points each.

Drury, 21-4 and 15-2 in the GLVC, shot 60.3 percent from the field (35 of 58). The Hawks hit 22-of-50 shots for 44.0 percent shooting. Rockhurst also lost the rebound battle, 29-27.

The Hawks, 4-19, play a makeup game at Missouri S&T on Monday at 7:30 p.m.
