Box Score Behind 57.1 percent field goal shooting, Missouri-St. Louis collected a 95-55 victory over Rockhurst Saturday in St. Louis, Mo. The Tritons made 14 of their 32 field goals from behind the three-point line.
Rockhurst fell behind 48-30 at halftime as UMSL hit nine-of-13 three-pointers. The Tritons opened the second half on an 18-3 run while sinking five three-pointers. Rockhurst shot 50 percent from the field in the second half.
David Wingerson paced the Hawks with a career-high 15 points on six-of-eight shooting.
Brandon McCann scored 11 points on four-of-eight shooting.
Cooper Beckett added eight points and four rebounds. Rockhurst shot 43.8 percent (21 of 48) from the field. The Hawks turned the ball over 14 times, leading to 28 points for UMSL.
The Hawks, 4-18 and 3-12 in the GLVC, play at Missouri S&T on Thursday, Feb. 21, at 7:30 p.m.
