Four players scored in double figures to lead William Jewell to a 70-54 victory over Rockhurst Monday at Jewell's Mabee Center. The Hawks, 1-13 and 0-7 in the GLVC, next play at Quincy on Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Jewell led from start to finish while shooting 42.4 percent from the field. The Cardinals took a 35-19 lead into halftime and never let the Hawks get closer than nine points in the second half. Rockhurst was held to 35.0 percent field goal shooting (21 of 60).

Liam Duffy and James Robinson tied for team-high scoring honors with nine points while combining for nine rebounds. Cooper Beckett finished with eight points and seven rebounds. Brett Hornung posted seven points and six rebounds Brandon McCann added seven points and five rebounds.

The Cardinals, 8-7, outrebounded Rockhurst, 38-32. Jewell is now 3-0 against Rockhurst since the Cardinals joined the Great Lakes Valley Conference last year,
