The Rockhurst women's tennis team is returning to the NCAA Division II Tournament for the second year in a row and the sixth time in program history.

The 49th-ranked Hawks (11-4) will play 41st-ranked Ferris State (13-7) in the first round of the Midwest Regional at 2 p.m. ET on Friday, May 8 at Findlay University in Findlay, Ohio.

Seven teams earned tickets to the Midwest Regional. Rockhurst is seeded sixth, while Findlay is the No. 3 seed. This will be the fourth meeting between the two schools since 2017. The Bulldogs won their previous match, 4-3, in 2024 in Orlando, Florida.

The Rockhurst-Ferris State winner will face the winner of No. 2-seeded Findlay (19-1) and No. 7 Indianapolis (11-9) at noon ET on Saturday, May 9 in Findlay, Ohio. Findlay is ranked 14th in the latest ITA national rankings.

Preliminary rounds will be played May 8-9 at 16 regional sites. The winning team from each site will advance to the finals, May 19-23, in Surprise, Arizona. The Pacific West Conference and the City of Surprise will serve as hosts.
